Charles P. Castellon learned to practice law as a trial attorney in New York City beginning in 1992. In 2003, he made a life and career change by returning to Florida, where he had lived previously and maintained strong roots. Charles is active in community, civic and professional associations and has lectured and served as a panelist on real estate and legal issues for organizations including the Osceola County Association of Realtors, Orange County Regional Realtors Association, Central Florida Realty Investors, National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, Osceola County Landlords Association, Score Real Estate School, Home Mortgage Crisis Network and various other companies and associations throughout Florida.  Below you will find general information on Charles' education, credentials and accreditations.

Luis D. Carreja

Attorney and Counselor at Law


Luis D. Carreja was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1999 as a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law.  Mr. Carreja brings a wide variety of legal experience to the Firm with a concentration in the areas of Real Estate and Community Association law.  Mr. Carreja started his legal career as a Criminal Defense attorney in Merritt Island, Florida.  Thereafter, Mr. Carreja practiced in both the transactional and litigation phases of Real Estate.  During his career, Mr. Carreja has handled matters which range from  simple eviction to complex construction litigation.  In addition, as a community association attorney, Mr. Carreja has represented hundreds of condominium and homeowners’ associations as general counsel.  Presently, Mr. Carreja is responsible for managing a caseload of more than four hundred cases, including foreclosure defense, and other civil matters including, but not limited to, real estate litigation, real estate transactions and community association matters.

Maria brings over 15 years of experience to the firm as a litigation paralegal, managing cases for lead counsel.  As the firms Senior Paralegal / Office Administrator Maria supervises our team of paralegals, legal assistants and interns.  Maria and her team are dedicated to ensuring that the attorneys are always prepared for court and the clients are well informed of the progress of their case.   Maria is a Florida Registered Paralegal with The Florida Bar and is also a Notary Public for the state of Florida.  Maria is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.

Eric L. Peguero

Certified Forensic Loan Auditor


Eric brings to the firm over 10 years of experience in Banking, Mortgage and Real Estate.  Eric serves both as the  firms' Foreclosure Defense Counselor and Certified Forensic Loan Auditor.   Eric helps the firm provide a complete out of court solution for its clients.  Additionally, Eric has experience in mortgage processing and underwriting, in both the commercial and residential arenas.  In 2010 Eric received his certification as a National Mortgage Underwriters Association - Certified Forensic Loan Auditor.  Throughout his career, Eric has demonstrated a passion for helping those around him.  Eric has been very involved with the community by serving on several boards as well as conducting seminars to inform the individuals and families facing foreclosure of their options and alternatives to foreclosure.
